This sort of thing happens a lot and is for the most unexplainable apart from dodgy telcos playing their normal games of covering their tracks when caught out
It was most certainly 100% a Microsoft tech support number yesterday until they met an untimely death. Today it is a genuine Comcast business number, which is on hundreds if not thousands of numbers across the toll free prefixes
